Architecture Firm Interior Renovation Harley Ellis Devereaux Los Angeles, CA Sq ft: 35,375 Consistent growth necessitated the expansion of the office of the firm. Designed around the concept of "connecting ribbons," the office features the use of architectonic planes that engage walkways and ceilings to interconnect and identify spaces within the larger volume of working studios. The design embraces the idea of building connections among teammates, disciplines, studios, clients, and the firm's offices. This arrangement brings people together, and the new office provides a mechanism to communicate the firm's culture to staff and visitors. The LEED-CI designated space incorporates sustainable features such as rapidly renewable materials, energy-efficient lighting, flexible and ergonomic workstations, and access to windows and views for over 90% of occupants. |
