Ad Agency Interior Renovation
Cramer Krasselt

Chicago, IL

Sq ft: 57,600

The need to upgrade office space to reflect the Cramer Krasselt's repositioned image, along with a new lease of space, provided an ideal opportunity to reassess the ad agency's physical space needs and how the office environment could support new ways of working. While the agency was accustomed to its existing space, the new design served as one of the catalysts for a change in work styles as well as aesthetic image. Expressing the office as a cityscape, the design concept creates wide corridors to serve as circulation "boulevards" connecting the more social "plaza" areas of reception, conference rooms, lunchroom, and a gathering area with a pool table. Boulevard circulation spines "advertise" the firm's own products with a flexible informative display system for advertising campaigns and art.
